Well, Today I ventured back into the world of the equestrian. Kind of, I mean over the summer I decided I would dress like one from that point on, tall formal riding boots, jodhpurs, very Ralph Lauren. So, anyways today I wore those jodhpurs with tall boots to the dentists' office, because whenever I feel risky and not quite confident enough to face the world, I wear such outfits to the dentist. While at the dentist, I thought of many things, including eye wear and leather.
Man, Leather is mad cool, very ehh versatile, kind of? I suppose one could go for the Royal Rebel Rider look, but I think I would have to hire a model to do that for me, I would outfit them though, just to illustrate my point.
Allors: Nails.
Tricky, seasons come and go, dark nails go from scary to chic to average to goth again, and light colors stay pretty static, and safe. but what do we do for a happy medium? perhaps you aren't feeling Chanel's Black Satin, or Essie's Fiji that was on everyones nails forever, and maybe that new summer yellow thing is too loud for you, and red? maybe too sex pistol-y for everyday wear. To paint or not to paint? So I thought to myself today as I tried to decide if I should get my nails done or not, coral or blue? white or silver? I was lost.
I still am lost, but I think I may have come across something that might help me be found. I call it Lilac. I realize that lately everyone has been purple obsessed, dont get me wrong I have been too, especially my friend Lauren, but literally, I wear purple eyeliner and purple mascara (it does wonders for brown eyes), But lilac nail polish for summer, I mean you can ask the people over at O.P.I., thats the way to go on your hands, as for your feet, I guess you can stick with a nice warm red if youre on the beach, sounds good to me.
So strut that around some palace, and see how that goes.
